Legislation and NEN 3140

The Health & Safety Act and insurance companies require employers to do everything in their power to prevent personal accidents on the work floor. If a calamity occurs and it is found that an employer had not taken preventative measures, that employer can be held liable. The requirements in the field of safety and health are laid down in the Health & Safety Act. The EN 50110 and NEN 3140 norms provide guidelines for safe working practices within the framework of this law.
