Pressure equipment according to PED requirements
From May 2002, pressurised equipment with a design pressure greater than 0.5 bar overpressure, such as pressure vessels and system pipes, must satisfy the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). In addition, the 'user phase' of the PED came into effect on 1 August 2005. This means that in addition to the construction of new buildings and inspections before start up, the use of pressure equipment will also be regulated. GTI has all the requisite knowledge in-house to evaluate, design and modify this equipment.
Certified for design and manufacture
GTI is one of the few service organisations that can supply CE marking for products designed and manufactured under modules D, D1 and H of the PED without the intervention of an independent inspection body. Lloyd's certified GTI for this in 2002. When you work with GTI, you can be sure that you are complying with all the procedural regulations. Moreover, GTI remains liable for its manufactured pressure equipment for no less than ten years.
