Nestlé is a global market leader in the food and beverage sector. Nestlé has six production facilities in the Netherlands. Recently Nestlé decided to contract plannable maintenance to one single party.

Following a selection procedure, Nestlé chose GTI, owing to its knowledge and experience of maintenance contracts and its maintenance capacity and specialities that are available nationwide. The contract is accentuated towards improved availability and cost reductions through implementing optimum working procedures.
In this project, GTI and Nestlé are working closely together in a 'hybrid' organisation which contains the best of each of the two companies. The collaboration is being tested at one location. After the pilot, the process of contracting out will be rolled out over the other production facilities. The developments will be implemented in close consultation with the Nestlé works council.
