Cladding

'Cladding' is a method frequently used to increase the resistance of products to erosion and corrosion. By welding materials with radically different properties to the original materials, we can realise a greater standing time. Another reason for applying a cladding layer is to improve the mechanical properties.

In many cases, applying high-quality cladding materials to cheaper base materials has qualitative and economic benefits. It is a good alternative for expensive duplex materials, for example. GTI specialises in the use of cladding layers for all possible applications in many sectors of industry.
