Dams running on solar energy

Dams running on solar energy

GTI supplies automated dams that run on solar energy. These dams regulate the water discharge themselves. They also calculate how much space is still left in the gauge compartment to retain water. Then the dams can automatically distribute the water. By distributing the water more efficiently, the existing water system can store much more water. Pumping stations do not become overloaded and important areas are not flooded.

Solar energy
The crowns of the dams are movable and can be adjusted automatically. By storing the solar energy in batteries, the dam can be moved to the right position by means of small electrical engines. That means that you no longer have to drive along all the dams in your area to position them at the right height so that the water level is maintained.

From your desk
These automated dams are connected in series and communicate with each other. The solar energy powering the dam also provides energy for communication. Using a wireless connection, it is possible to send data to a central point. From there, an administrator whole area can be surveyed at a glance. You can keep track of data such as water levels in front of and behind the dam, malfunctions to the dam and the quality of the batteries from your desk.

GTI can construct these dams on solar energy in your water system by technically adapting or replacing existing dams. That enables you to take advantage of the latest technologies for relatively low costs.
