Oisterwijk/Bunnik, January 26, 2006GTI Zuid was recently awarded the contract by Philips Electronics Nederland BV for the installation and renovation of the electrical and mechanical installations in various buildings on the High Tech Campus Eindhoven. Following a thorough selection process Philips decided to award this contract to GTI, whereby Philips opted for the most economical solution. The renovation work will retain the shell and structure of the WY building; however, all the building services and the entire interior will be replaced. The scope of this project requires through planning and preparations, as well as comprehensive coordination. A striking feature of the design relates to the permanent visibility of some of the building services, a feature which in turn imposes high requirements on the preparations of the building services and the quality of their finish. GTI's work will begin in April 2006. It is expected that the building will be completed in February 2007.
In addition to this renovation work in the WY building GTI will also be responsible for the construction of the mechanical installations, inclusive of the complete air-conditioning systems, in the High Tech Campus' WEN, WEO and WEP office blocks.
