GTI Process Solutions strengthens management

's-Hertogenbosch/Zaltbommel - GTI Process Solutions recently strengthened its management team with three members, a move that is part of GTI's strategy to expand its position in the food and pharmaceuticals market.

Rob Wolthuizen, 48, has been appointed manager of the Food business unit. He has gained wide experience in national and international commercial management functions at organisations including British Petroleum and Wärtsilä Diesel. He has been general manger of Holvrieka for the last seven years and is one of the founders of the 'RVS-Kenniscentrum' (Stainless Steel Knowledge Centre) in Leeuwarden. He is also chairman of the North Netherlands 'RoestVastStaal Vereniging' (Stainless Steel Association).
Anton de Groot; 41, has been appointed manager of the Projects business unit. After completing his studies in electrical engineering at the Technical University of Eindhoven he held various management positions at ABB (production automation), Stork Installatietechniek and lastly at Burgers Ergon as business unit manager. At GTI Process Solutions he is responsible for projects, pre-manufacture and further development of maintenance and management activities.
Guy Persyn, 42, has been appointed manager of the Belgium business unit. After graduating in industrial engineering he worked in the field of production IT in the steel industry, and then assumed a management function in the chemicals industry. After this he held various management positions in Fabricom-GTI, and in the last two years was responsible for food and pharmaceuticals. He is now responsible for the further development of GTI Process Solutions in Belgium.
André Wijbenga (Pharma BU manager) and Lex Uiterlinden (Engineering and Process IT manager) have already been appointed, and Peter Bassa is general manager.
