GTI receives order for new Euro Tank Terminal BV fuel oil terminal
Bunnik / Dordrecht, July 28, 2004GTI has received an order from Euro Tank Terminal bv for the complete realisation of a new fuel oil terminal in Europoort. The terminal will have a capacity of 278,000 m3 and will be delivered by GTI in 2005. GTI will realise the project starting from the conceptual engineering phase until construction and launching, will supply equipment and will manage the total project.
In this multidisciplinary order, GTI will amongst other things be responsible for the development of eight tanks (four of which will have a diameter of 60 metres), the loading beams and the pumps for loading and unloading ships. In addition, GTI will be responsible for the entire infrastructure, ranging from roads for road transport to the infrastructure for data traffic. GTI will also be responsible for all electrical and instrumentation work and process automation such as the layout of the control room, including the DCS (Distributed Control System).
In this project GTI combines the know-how and capacity of GTI Mechanical bv, GTI Rotterdam Industrie bv and Fabricom GTI Major Projects bv. For the realisation of the civil engineering activities, GTI will be working together with Ballast Nedam nv.
The order involves several tens of million euros for GTI.
