At the end of 1998, DSM started construction of a plant for the production of Zor-f, a key component of cephalosporin antibiotics. This was a large project involving various specialists, including GTI, working closely together. We were responsible for providing the process installations - everything from detail engineering, purchasing materials and supplying and installing process equipment to the prefabrication and assembly of piping and the manufacture of steel structures. We insulated the installations and tested, documented and validated all the system components in line with strict international guidelines. Despite the tight schedule, we delivered the installations on time, within the limits of the budget and to the client's complete satisfaction.
