GTI is frequently called in to carry out electrotechnical work for P&O North Sea Ferries. One major project was an evaluation of all the electrical drawings for the Pride of Hull and the Pride of Rotterdam, making changes where necessary.

24-hour service
P&O North Sea Ferries also relies on GTI and its 24-hour, seven-day-a-week service to repair unexpected faults. Projects have included overhauling different types of generator and motor in our engine workshop and reinstalling them in Europoort within a very short space of time. And our high-voltage experts are often to be found on-board the ships, providing service.

Advice and modifications
P&O North Sea Ferries also turns to GTI when it comes to modification projects such as the upgrading of the fire detection systems on the Norbay and the Norbank, and the preparation of specifications by our consultants (with a group of partners) for the modification of passenger decks on the Norsea and Norsun.
