Piping Systems

GTI produces complete custom-made pipe spools in its modern prefabrication halls for your tanker, platform, coaster or sailing yacht. And it makes no difference to us whether your project involves simple batch production or complex processes, because we have the expertise and machinery in-house to handle a wide range of production techniques.

• Welding

We use generally accepted welding methods certified by bodies such as Det Norske Veritas, Lloyd's Register and the Dutch Steam Vessel Inspectorate. GTI processes a wide range of materials, from stainless steel and carbon steel to copper, titanium and cunifer. We can handle wall thicknesses up to 70 mm and diameters up to 2 metres, with a lifting capacity of up to 10 tonnes.

• Cold bending

Wherever it can be used, cold bending is an economical alternative. Our investment in computer-controlled CNC machines makes batch production an attractive proposition. We can produce pipes up to 6 inches in diameter and are certified for cold bending by Lloyd's Register. Each pipe spool is thoroughly inspected using radiographic techniques in our own non-destructive testing bunker before it leaves the production hall.
