De Baronie

Contract: Relocating and extending the production capacity.

GTI was responsible for relocating the chocolate lines in the De Baronie chocolate factory. We designed a new factory based on our client's process plan. We first made a 3D drawing of the pipe network, and then constructed and installed it. This included fitting electric tracing to the pipes, which accurately maintains the chocolate at its optimum temperature and keeps it fluid. GTI also constructed various devices such as storage tanks and mixing equipment, and we installed the insulation.

Project management
GTI was responsible for managing the entire project, which of course occurred in close consultation with the client. The project team consisted of our project manager and the De Baronie project leaders. There was a single point of contact at GTI for the entire process, also where subcontractors were involved.
