Columns

GTI provides the petrochemical industry with columns for processes such as cracking, which converts crude oil into petrol. Our columns come in various shapes and sizes: columns over 30 metres high and weighing more than 120 tons are not uncommon. Columns are usually smaller in diameter than storage tanks, but taller. They are made of strong, thin metal that must be handled very carefully. This is why columns must be very thoroughly checked at GTI, both by ourselves and external testing bodies.
